So today's meaningless question of the day is...

Based on this new song from Jennifer Hudson, Do you ever think she can NOT sound Broadway? And if she cant isnt it really sad considering that she is an awesome singer?

You're absolutely RIGHT! It's also sad that she recruited India.Arie
and Alicia Keys to help her sound more "pop". No disrespect to them
but India isn't anything near pop and she prides herself on being
different. AK, isn't pop either, or at least a different variation of
it... The best example of someone with a great voice that waters it
down to stay relevant is Mariah Carey! Although she may be nutty, shetakes the necessary 6 yrs between albums to pick the right songs formainstream listeners. Jen, stick to musicals, you're safe there...
