GABOUREY SIDIBE!!!! You know the girl we just fell in love with!?!?
She actually speaks about how she changed her voice at about 5 minutes into the clip...
And I just posted this Ellen video to show how cool and funny she is..
Gabourey Sidibe is truly my hero for 2010. Watch her as she enjoys her Jennifer Hudson moment this year. Check her out starting things up in Vanity Fair. Love the photo of her and Philly native, Lee Daniels (director of "Precious", "The Woodsman" "Shadowboxer" and "Monster's Ball"). Ok and Ima say it. Although we are all loving her "big and beautiful" attitude, sooner or later some Dr. Ian type (or movie exec) is gonna sway her to shed some pounds. Am I the only one that looks forward to her Moniquesque type makeover?????????? You know where she doesnt loose too much weight, but she just looks healthy?
Kesha Cole all growed up?
“To all my friends and fans,
It’s time that I clear the air. It’s not a secret that I haven’t been in contact with my mother Frankie, and my sisters Neffe and Elite and I never wanted to air out our differences to the public. While I won’t go into detail here I find it necessary to let you guys know I decided to stop communication with them because I was at a point in my life where I needed serenity and peace to move forward. Please know I love my family very much but it was time to let it go. You guys are a witness to a lot of what was happening from watching on air and online. Now that I am becoming a mom my passion for having a loving and peaceful home for my child is my #1 priority. It’s very important to both Daniel and I. My plate is very full; I have a new baby coming, we are planning our wedding and I am working in the studio on a new album that I am close to completing. The stress that my family is giving me with their constant false reports is not healthy and it’s not what I need at this time in my life. Please understand that there are only a few people that can officially confirm or deny anything that’s happening in my life and that’s me, Daniel, and my publicist, Tresa Sanders. And my girl Monica never lies.”
Love Your Girl,
KC
Lets start our Black History Month activities early shall we?
During primetime each weeknight, the channel will spotlight a variety of black cult classics from film and television with commentary from industry experts, including actors, producers and musical artists who helped create, or were influenced by the productions.
One of four genres popular with African Americans will be featured each week throughout February: comedy/variety TV, film soundtracks, classic sitcoms, and blaxploitation movies.
Below is the schedule:
Comedy/Variety Week (Monday, Feb. 1 – Friday, Feb. 5):
• Viewers will be treated to encore presentations of "The Flip Wilson Show," the first successful broadcast network variety series starring an African American, and the never before re-aired "The Richard Pryor Show," which first ran on NBC in 1977.
Soundtracks Week (Monday, Feb. 8 – Friday, Feb. 12)
• TV One will honor the films with soundtracks that underscored our lives… such as the hip hop classic, "Krush Groove" and the quintessential coming-of-age treasure, "Cooley High." Host Chris “Kid” Reid (House Party) will be joined by musical artists Brian McKnight, Kurtis Blow and El DeBarge, along with producer/director Warrington Hudlin, actor Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs and actor Glynn Turman.
Classic Sitcoms Week (Monday, Feb. 15 – Friday, Feb. 19)
• This week will be hosted by actor Darryl Bell from "A Different World," one of the featured sitcoms. He will be joined by a panel that includes other actors and actresses from this week’s featured sitcoms including Ernest Thomas and Haywood Nelson from "What’s Happening!"; "The Jeffersons’" Marla Gibbs; "Good Times’" Jimmie Walker and BernNadette Stanis; and Ajai Sanders from "A Different World."
Blaxploitation Film Week – (Monday, Feb. 22 – Friday, Feb. 26)
• "The Mack," "Cleopatra Jones," "Foxy Brown," "Three Hard Way," and "Sweet Jesus Preacher Man" will be screened under host Mario Van Peebles. A panel includes his father, legendary director Melvin Van Peebles, and actors Michael Jai, Fred Williamson, Anne-Marie Johnson and Roger E. Mosley.

New Alice in Wonderland TRAILER!!
Another Tim Burton directed film where he solicits the help of his two best friends and actors, Helen Bonham Carter (Burton's wife) and Johnny Depp (his best friend and star of most of Burton's movies ie Edward Scissorhands)
So I stopped by Kanye's again and look what I found...
WE WERE ONCE A FAIRYTALE BY SPIKE JONZE & KANYE WEST
by teleTOC
Kanye also posted the new trailer for the New Iron Man movie, which is interesting because there was a little controversy surrounding the casting of Don Cheadle in the place of Terrence Howard. Last I heard Terrence wanted a raise for the sequel and the producers were like NO! lol So Don stepped in in his place. Anyway it still looks interesting. Scarlett Jo and Mikey Rourke have been added too....
